The House. Le Laurier is a Maison Traditionnelle. Although built in 1992 it retains a cottage character with dormer windows, green shutters and a tree shaded garden. The B and B rooms are located on the first floor, with views over the village rooftops to the coast.
The Garden. The Garden is south facing, and the Terrace is furnished with garden table, chairs, parasol, sun-loungers and BBQ. Guests are invited to use the garden at any time of day.
Tourville is situated 10mins from Coutances and 5mins from the fine, sandy beach of Agon-Coutainville, with promenade, shops and café/restaurants overlooking the sea. Nearby is the Point d´Agon, a beautiful, natural conservation area and the vast Sienne Estuary.
Tourville is a pretty village perched high on a hill looking down over the Sienne estuary and surrounding countryside. The views are outstanding across the sheep grazing on the saltmarshes to the lighthouse at Point d´Agon. In the village there is a boulangerie, shop and the bar/restaurant has a terrace with a magnificent panoramic view of the estuary. Tourville is 75 mins south of Cherbourg and is ideally situated for visiting Mont Saint-Michel, Bayeaux, the D-Day landings, St.Malo and so much more.
